- Ingredients: Cacao beans, coconut sugar, cacao butter (cocoa solids 80% minimum)
Award-winning chocolate: Bronze - Silver International Chocolate Awards 2019
Grown at the foothills of the Sierra Madre de Chiapas. Fermented and dried with craft, based on a 4000 year old tradition of cacao. Hugo Chavez from Argo Floresta works with 70 small landholder farms to collect this special local blend of cacaos.
This is a bean with a very harmonious profile and notes of spices, chilli, cocoa, sweet fruit and with hints of biscuit. The flavours of the Selva Tabasqueño is indebted to its lush and diverse terroir and its ancient genetic traits.
Crafted with passion. We work with single estate raw cacao and stone ground the beans for at least 16 hours. Then we sweeten the chocolate with unrefined coconut sugar.
Coco Caravan chocolate making was born from a moment of clarity. The company started as Chocolates by Jacques in Australia and moved to Cardiff, Wales in 2013, where it started Coco Caravan. After two successful years in Cardiff the brand decided to move to the heart of the Cotswolds in Stroud. Their approach to life and products is focused around care for a healthy environment, anthroposophical education and holistic wellbeing. Waldorf Steiner education is very much inline with this approach and our children would have access to that education here in Stroud.
Today's chocolate has become so far removed from the real thing that we wanted to make something the way it is meant to be: Raw and Pure.
A taste sensation wrapped in a chocolate bar, enjoy...
