From a House on a Hill, in London 2010, SCRT started as a self-funded project, working with local artists to produce short runs of exclusive print-wear. In the years since, the label has grown & developed into a forward-thinking, independent British streetwear brand collaborating with creatives from around the world. The brand draws influences from subcultures both past & present, whilst producing cut & sew collections focused on vintage-inspired workwear, with function and everyday use in mind.
The brand often finds inspiration in cult films, forgotten corners of media, and art in all forms. The construction of their garments often utilises a box-fit, taking outlines from vintage patterns and found items, especially workwear that has survived extensive use. Fabrics are simple and comfortable, with detailing often used to express the themes within our capsules.
SCRT recently made changes to become a more sustainable and responsible brand. They’ve moved almost all of their production to Portugal and are now incorporating organic and upcycled materials in our cut & sew. As a London based brand they also have pledged to use our platform to do more, and their recent donative effort is focused on BLAM, a community outreach charity in Brixton that provides a safe space for educating and caring for young minds in South London.
