Burnt & Blackened Salsa Verde

Our interpretation of the traditional Mexican Salsa Verde! Blackened tomatillos and chili peppers on our charcoal grill
we combined with fresh Serrano and yellow Habanero peppers, a lot of garlic and lime and coriander so fresh that they pop out of the bottle.
The heat is pungent but moderate so it doesn't overwhelm the fresh, juicy flavors that make this salsa verde a hit.

Use this salsa verde to liven up your tacos, burritos, quesedillas and all other tortilla dishes! Drizzle it over avocado salads, fresh fish, rice and chicken or pork dishes, or your omelet.
This spicy salsa verde also works well with 'green' white wines, such as a light sauvignon blanc or a Portuguese Vinho Verde!

We make our Chiloreo Hot Sauces in The New Farm, a unique spot in the Hague that we share with Craft beer brewers, Mead makers, Coffee roasters, a baker and a sausage maker - and a unique rooftoop bar with a spectacular view. You’ll recognise it by the greenhouse right on top of our roof!
