Purnama Rituals

Anahata yoga mat

€117.00 EUR

The mat is approximately 3 mm thick, which is the standard yoga mat thickness.

Size: approx. 180 cm x 67 cm.
There may be slight differences is size, due to each product being handmade.

Purnama Rituals yoga mats are made fully in India: from the materials, ingredients, herbal dyes, to the actual hand-made process of weaving the mats.  The yoga carrier bags are also made fully in India.

How to use:

Purnama Rituals yoga mats can last a lifetime with proper care.

Follow our washing instructions and only use natural, chemical-free washing products to clean the mats. Keep out of direct sunlight.

During regular use, it is enough to wipe the mat down with a damp cloth, and hang to dry. Our yoga mats are naturally antibacterial and have antifungal properties due to the medicinal herbs used, so you won’t have to clean them as often as regular yoga mats.  Wash every 3-6 months, depending on your practice & individual needs.

Washing method:

Wash by hand, in cold water, using the 100% organic soap nuts & linen bag, that come with the mat.

Soap nuts, or Indian soap berries, are an amazing natural detergent due to a natural cleaning essence that is contained in their shell. They are the fruits of a small tree called Sapindus Mukorossi tree, native to the Himalayas.

-Place 5 soap nuts with 2 cups of water in a pot.
-Bring to boil, turn down the flame and let it simmer for 20 minutes.
-Strain the liquid, put the soap nuts to dry. Use the liquid as washing detergent.

-Place 5 soap nuts in the bag and secure with string.
-Place the soap nuts into the washing machine.
-Wash on hand-washing cycle, in cold water.

Hang in shade to dry.
