Why is Ylang Ylang Essential Oil so good?

The essential oil made from the colourful flowers of Ylang Yalnag tree which contain countless antioxidants and sesquiterpenes. Sesquiterpenes help to increase the amount of oxygen in the brain, which increases the production of endorphins. This makes Ylang Ylang stimulating. This oil is also known for its unique floral scent which helps to combat insomnia and fatigue. 

How is Ylang Ylang Made?

Our Ylang Ylang does not come from tropical Indonesia but is grown on a breathtaking landscape in Madagascar. You can smell the wonderful scent of fresh flowers from a considerable distance. Ylang Ylang essential oil is extracted from the flowers of the Ylang Ylang tree through steam distillation.

How to use it:

When using on your skin, always dilute essential oil in a carrier oil, such as almond or jojoba oil, and do not use more than 1 - 2% (1 - 2ml essential oil per 100ml carrier oil).

Apply the oil as needed on cleansed skin. For use on your scalp, you can also add a few drops of Ylang Ylang essential oil to your shampoo or conditioner.

To inhale the essential oil, use it in an oil lamp/diffuser or a fragrance block.
