Morbid Being N° 3(Print)

Morbid Being N° 2: 1600 years ago, the Chinese began to breed fishes for entertainment. They have been called ‘Peony in water’ because of their fabulous appearance resembling the shape of a flower in blossom. The peony is one of the most beloved flower in China. These mutated carp stood out and became very popular during the Ming Dynasty (1368–1644), because of their extremely bifurcated fancy tails and big bubbled eyes. A symbol of happiness and good fortune, this fragile and elegant beauty is always displayed and admired in indoor ponds or vessels instead of in the wild.
