African Black Soap

€19.00 EUR
  • Free from Synthetic Sodium Hydroxide
  • Improves your skin
  • Suitable for your body and your hair
  • 100% natural and vegan

How to use it:

Body and face

Crumble off a piece of the soap and rub it between your hands. Then apply the foam to a damp face. For an extra-deep cleaning, let the foam soak in. African Black Soap can sting a bit on the first use because your skin still has to get used to it. Rinse the soap off with a generous amount of lukewarm water. We recommend starting with using the soap once a week and gradually building it up.

Hair

To use it to shampoo your hair mix a chunk of the soap with several drops of Argan Oil.

Why is African Black Soap so good?

Because African Black Soap is packed with vitamins A and E, which will keep your skin healthy and well-nourished. Vitamin A helps your skin to produce collagen, keeps your skin firm and prevents premature ageing. Vitamin E moisturizes and improves the texture of your skin.

You can use African Black Soap to treat pimples and impurities.

How is African Black Soap made?

Black soap is made from the ashes of local plants and barks such as plantain (plantain), cocoa pods and palm tree leaves. The leaves and barks are first dried in the sun and then roasted in a pot at a constant temperature, which is important to get the color and texture right. Then water and oil (coconut oil, palm kernel oil, shea butter) are added and stirred for at least one day. The soap is "stored" for two weeks and is then ready to be used. The palm oil used in the black soap comes from small communities, produced locally in Ghana. So no mono-culture as with the large plantations that are so poorly known.

100% natural

The African Black Soap from Natural Heroes is vegan and contains no dyes, fragrances and other synthetic additives. The soap is handmade by a local cooperative in Ghana. The soap is made from roasted cocoa pods, 25% palm kernel oil, 25% organic coconut oil and contains no less than 50% unrefined Shea Butter.
